Work with the Jamescape team on our mission to support organisations to become inclusive workplaces for disabled staff!
This role is flexible, but requires self-discipline, strong punctuality and an ability to complete work to a high standard. We anticipate this role to be a broadly low commitment and the number of opportunities to attend sessions will vary depending on client need.
This role is based at our fully accessible Liverpool headquarters (CENTRAL TECH). Frequent travel may be required for in-person validations at client offices. The closing date for this job is Friday 22/08/2025 at 12:00 BST midday and we are looking for up to 15 people to help us with this project.
You will be hired as a contractor, which means that you must invoice Jamescape for the number of hours you work to get paid (we can support you with this process). You will be paid at a rate of £15.75 per hour and reasonable expenses (e.g. travel) are covered.

The application process for this job has two stages:
We welcome applications from disabled people and offer a Guaranteed Interview scheme. As long as you meet the below Essential criteria for the job, and you identify as disabled as per the definition in the Equality Act 2010, you will be guaranteed to progress onto the Meeting. You do not need to prove or disclose your disability to us to qualify for this. Please indicate your preference in the form if you would like your application to be considered under this scheme.
We’re looking for panel members to attend focus group sessions where you will be tasked with critically evaluating the practices of an organisation from an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) perspective, offering constructive feedback on how they can improve.
These focus group sessions will fulfil a requirement of the Disability Confident scheme, which is a UK government scheme that helps organisations become more inclusive, aiming to help them more easily recruit and retain disabled staff. Your role will be to listen to the organisation’s presentation and then offer constructive feedback on what they’re doing well and anything more they could do to be inclusive for disabled staff.
Currently, we plan to hold these sessions during standard working hours (Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00) but exact timings will vary for each session, as per the organisation’s preference. There may be some evening sessions, so please consider applying even if standard working hours aren’t possible for you.
